Banff Prize Draw T&C’s

Terms and Conditions For All Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour NZ Prize Draws:

  1. By entering the spot prize draw, national tour prize draw and survey prize draw each entrant will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.
  2. Prizes and Offer cannot be redeemed for cash or credit and are not transferable or exchangeable.
  3. Failure to supply all requested personal information at the time of submitting an entry might result on the entry being invalid.
  4. Only one entry per person per screening.  Once you have entered using your email address, any other entries using that same email address at that screening will be invalid. Your entry will be for the screening you are at and each valid entry will go into the Tour Prize draw to be drawn following the final New Zealand screening. 
  5. No responsibility will be taken for late/lost/misdirected mail, incomplete entries or entries with incorrect postage. Entries will be deemed to be void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
  6. By entering the competition winners agree to their names being published and/or to be photographed by the promoter and that the promoter may use their names and such photographs for publicity purposes.
  7. All prizes are subject to standard terms and conditions of the company supplying the prizes.
  8. New Zealand Alpine Club is not liable for damage to prizes sent by post or courier.
  9. Winners will be drawn by random selection by the New Zealand Alpine Club. The first valid entry randomly drawn will win the associated Prize. If there is more than one Prize then each subsequent valid entry drawn will win the Prize until all Prizes for that week have been won.
  10. If the prize winner cannot be contacted within 3 days, at New Zealand Alpine Club’s option that winner will forfeit the prize with no right of compensation and the prize will be redrawn.
  11. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, New Zealand Alpine Club, the companies supplying the prizes and their employees are not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prizes.
  12. Entry is open to New Zealand audience members that attended a Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour NZ screening within the year of the competition running.
  13. All entries become the property of the New Zealand Alpine Club and may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, or passed onto the businesses supplying the prizes and supporting the event for their marketing purposes.
  14. If you accept the Prize, you are responsible, at your own cost, for obtaining all necessary insurances and any other thing necessary to benefit from the Prize, including all applicable taxes related to accepting the Prize.
  15. Under the Privacy Act 1993, all individuals have the right to access and correct their personal information by contacting The New Zealand Alpine Club in writing to New Zealand Alpine Club, PO Box 786, Christchurch 8140, New Zealand. Read our Privacy Policy here.
  16. The New Zealand Alpine Club reserves the right to extend, postpone or cancel the Promotion and to modify these terms and conditions without notice.

Terms and Conditions For Adventure South National Tour Prizes:

  1. Prize is one place twin share for a North Island Banff Film Festival attendee on trip code WTC (West Coast Wilderness Trail). 
  2. Prize is one place twin share for a South Island Banff Film Festival attendee on trip codes WTC (West Coast Wilderness Trail).
  3. The prize is valid for bookings made before 31st  January 2021
  4. Winner must travel on a fixed group departure between 1st October 2020 and 31 April 2021. 
  5. Travel is subject to availability and trips meeting a minimum number of 6 travellers on the chosen trip.
  6. Valid for direct bookings with Adventure South NZ only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer from The World Expeditions Travel Group of companies.
  7. Surcharges, supplements such as bike hire, child prices and any other additions outside of the inclusions in the trip notes are not included in the prize.
  8. The prize cannot be changed once the booking has been confirmed by Adventure South NZ with the prize winner.
  9. The prize winner is responsible for all other items of personal nature, including spending money, insurance, transport to and from their departure point, drink, meals (except where stipulated), personal equipment and all other ancillary costs.
  10. Offer cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
